ETH has been one of the pioneering officers since WMFAA was first
established in 1991, and had served several positions as Auditor and
Board of Director for a few terms. Seemingly untiring, she decided to
run again as Board of Director this time and will be of service to WMFAA
for the next four years.
When asked why did she run for office again?
She gladly uttered,
“I would like to get more involved and pro-active of
the association’s functions, and continue to encourage more active
participation of members and promote harmonious unity amongst our
membership.”
She added,
“We must be willing to have open
discussions/forums with our current and previous members at our general
assembly meetings, so that both sides maybe heard and possibly be able
to come up with a common ground/solution in the best interest of WMFAA
and its members.”
Beth is originally from San Juan, Southern Leyte,
Philippines where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Elementary
Education. Also, she obtained her Associates Degree in Sales &
Marketing, Realtor Associates in Grand Rapids. She currently works for
the Michigan Department of State and a part-time Realtor.
She is married
to James (retired from General Motors) with an only daughter, Bethany
25, who works at JW Marriott (Administrative Assistant to the
Foods/Beverage Director). The Franklins enjoy traveling together to
visit friends and relatives.
