ros is appointed as Treasurer and was asked to serve in this capacity after the 2007 WMFAA election, as he was not visible during that time. With no hesitation, he said, "I believe, it is now my turn to serve, just as everyone else has the responsibility to contribute to the good of the Filipino-American community".

When asked about how can he make such a contribution to improve WMFAA without hesitation, he mentioned, "Professionally, my management skills in finance and administration. Personally, my life experience being in a cross-cultural marriage with my American wife, Joy can enhance the Filipino-American aspect of our community."

Also, Pros is willing to serve in a leadership role, such as board member or as one of the executive officers. He believes, he can bring to the community his professional education and experience in management.

Currently, he is the Treasurer / Director of Finance and Administration of a church denominational headquarters of The United Methodist Church in West Michigan.

He had previously worked as a Controller and Internal Audit Manager in a corporation with subsidiaries in different states in the U.S.A. and Canada. Pros hails from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines with an educational background in Philosophy and MBA (Masters in Business Administration).

Married to Merrita Joy has a private practice as a marriage and family therapist. She does counseling for individuals, couples, and families. Our son Spencer 21 is in Culinary Arts at GRCC and works part-time in Reds on the River restaurant in Rockford. Our daughter, Samara 19 is a student in the Interior Design program at Adrian College.
